A quietish day today. Visited Stanford University – such a pristine place built in whitish stone. We observed two or three wedding parties having their photos taken here in front of the very lavish cathedral (or church). Wanted to climb the tower but not open today. We then drove to Castle Rock National Park near Saratoga. Had to pay of course. Vern and I did a short walk but Raewyn and Brendan decided to carry on and do a much longer walk. I was suffering quite badly from a cold and was quite happy to wait in the car. Back to Mountain View.
