Date: c1937 Description: Alvin and Kevin Smith at the entrance to their tent, probably at 88 West End Rd. The 'dipper' hanging on the tent support was familiar to me as it was used by whoever was doing the washing to bale hot water from the 'copper' into the tubs for washing clothes by hand.
